Joyous loves independent restaurants, just like you do.
So we’ve decided to start honoring those restaurants who are bringing our communities distinctive flavors and awesome tastes.

RESTAURANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for nomination, each restaurant must satisfy the following verifable criteria.
INDEPENDENTS ONLY
No chains. No franchises. Just local, independent Beaverton and Hillsboro restaurants.
WITHIN 8 MILE RADIUS
The restaurant must be within the Beaverton/Hillsboro area: within 8 miles of the intersection of Cornelius Pass Road and SE Kinnaman Street
DEADLINE
The deadline for nomination is February 14th, 2022 at Midnight Pacific Time.
NOMINATIONS OPEN
Nominations open on January 15th.
ONE NOMINATION PER PERSON
Each restaurant may be nominated only once.
NOMINATOR & VOTER PRIZES
Yes, PRIZES!
Each nominator will be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to any nominated restaurant of their choice.
Each voter will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to any nominated restaurant of their choice.
No purchase is necessary to nominate or vote.
The Winners Podium
Voting for the winners will begin on February 16th, 2022 and end on March 1st, 2022 at Midnight Pacific Time.
Winners will receive a framed certificate they can display in their window announcing them as the winners of the 2021 Beaverton/Hillsboro Foodie’s Choice Awards.
GOLD MEDALIST
The restaurant with the most votes will claim the honor of being the Gold Medalist of the 2021 Foodie’s Choice Awards.
SILVER MEDALIST
The restaurant with the second most votes will claim the honor of being the Silver Medalist of the 2021 Foodie’s Choice Awards.
BRONZE MEDALIST
The restaurant with the third most votes will claim the honor of being the Bronze Medalist of the 2021 Foodie’s Choice Awards.
